Rate Limits
Some Power BI APIs have rate limits that restrict how many calls can be made per hour. All Zeaware Monitor for Power BI feeds are configured to respect the documented Power BI rate limits.
Depending on the size of your environment these rate limits may cause delays to how often data is refreshed in the Zeaware Monitor application. These rate limits are defined by Microsoft and are not configurable.
Monitoring Limitations
As Zeaware Monitor for Power BI only uses documented APIs for access Power BI data, there are limitations to what data can be collected. Zeaware continue to track API changes made by Microsoft and when new information is made available through the Power BI APIs.
Known Limitations
The following table lists some of the commonly desired monitoring information that is not available via Zeaware Monitor for Power BI. This list is not exhaustive:
- Dataset Size information
- Power BI VNet Gateway information
