Service Dashboard
The Service dashboard is used to understand the current and past state and heath of the Power BI service.
Visuals
The following visuals are included within the Service page:Visual | Description |

Power BI Status | This visual shows the current status of the Power BI service as reported by the Microsoft Service Health API. The expected status is operational, if the service is down or degraded other statuses may show. |
Uptime (30d) | This is the uptime % of the Power BI service over the last 30 days. This is calculated based on periods of reported down time by the Microsoft Service Health API. The calculation is the total number of minutes for the past 30 days minus any reported down time, expressed as a percentage. |
Power BI Service Up/Down % (30d) | This shows the prior 30 days history and the Power BI Service status up/down expressed as a % of the day. Up time shows as a green bar above the center line, down time shows as a red bar below the center line. Note: If you have started monitoring Power BI with Zeaware Monitor in the past 30 days data will be available from the date monitoring started. |
Service Issues (30d) | This visual shows the number of open service issues as well as the total count (open and closed) of service issues for the past 30 days. Note: open issues includes all open issues regardless of when created. The details of the issues in this indicator can be seen in the Service Issue Details table below. |
Service Health (30d) – Status vs Notifications | In addition to status changes, Zeaware Monitor for Power BI also collects service notifications. This indictor shows the number of health status changes compared to the number of service notifications. Note: notifications may be issued by Microsoft as an advisory without a change in service status. |
Tables
The following tables are included within the Service page:Table | Description |

Service Status History (30days) | This table shows all service health status changes in the past 30 days including the Start and End time and duration of the time at that status. This is used to understand what the Power BI service state would have been at a specific point in time. |
Service Notifications (30days) | This table shows a list of any service notifications issued by Microsoft in the past 30 days. This includes the Notification ID, type, Title, when it was created and the current status of the advisory. If you select the notification and click “View Notification” you can drill into more notification details including further notification messages. |
Service Issues | This table shows a filtered list of Service Status related issues. This will show current open issues by filtering on Open using the Issue Status filter, or issues closed in the past 30 days by selecting the closed status in the Issue Status filter. |
