Deploy as a Container App

Zeaware Monitor for Power BI can be deployed as a container application that is execute on a container host such as Azure Container Instance or Azure Kubernetes Service.

As a multi-platform application Zeaware Monitor for Power BI can be deployed on a Linux or Windows base container image. The container image must include the runtime for .NET 6.0, Microsoft provides a suitable base container images but customers my use or create their own.

From a security perspective, Zeaware Monitor is optimised to run under the security context of a Azure Managed Identity. This means no usernames or passwords are required to be stored by the application. The Azure Container Instance service provides an option that allowsthe container to run within a managed identity security context.

NOTE: Selecting a base container image is a key security consideration that should be reviewed by customer technical and security experts.
