Alerting via Email with SendGridAPI

Zeaware Monitor for Power BI can send alerts via email using the SendGridAPI. Alert details will embedded in an HTML format email that will be send for every new alert, and alert reoccurrences.

To configure Zeaware Monitor to send alerts via SendGridAPI please perform the following steps:

• Add your SendGridAPIKey in the Azure KeyVault configuration.
• Update the Configuration File to enable the SendGridAPI Alert Method.
• Additionally update the Configuration File to set the “SendFrom” and the list of “SentTo” emails.

Once the configuration has been updated, if you configuration is deployed using DevOps run the release cycle and push and test alerting changes as required as per your deployment strategy.
