Changing Schedule Availability

You can change the availability within a schedule.  Bookings made through the Self-Service Portal, or through Booking Search can only be made in periods within the Schedule that have been set as available.  Please see the Availability Overview before configuring Schedule Availability.

Setting Availability on a Specific Day

To set the Availability for a given day:

  • Login to the Zeaware Service Admin portal
  • Click the Bookings tab and select the Schedule that you are configuring the availability for
  • Using the Date Selector, choose the data for which you wish to set the Availability
  • In the Time Selector click at the Start Time for the Availability Period and drag the mouse to the End Time for the Availability Period.  Right click the mouse and select Change Availability option.
  • Alternatively,  simply right click the mouse and select the Change Availability option in the time selector.
  • Choose the date option in the Change Availability pane.
  • Next choose either “Available” to set the schedule time as available for Bookings, or choose “Unavailable” to set the schedule time as not available for Bookings.
  • Next check the Start and End Time for the Availability Period is correct, or adjust as required and click Next.
  • Finally review the Change Availability Summary pane and then click Change Availability to save your Availability Period changes.

Setting Availability on a Reoccurring Basis

In addition to changing the Availability on a single day, you can also change the Availability on a reoccurring basis.  This option should be used to configure routine periods when a Schedule should be available.  

Examples include:

  • Available Every Tuesday 9am-4pm
  • Available Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday 11:-3pm
  • Unavailable Thursdays
  • Unavailable 1st-Oct until the 12th of Oct (for example, if on holiday)

Configuring Reoccurring Availability:

To configure Reoccurring Availability:

  • Login to the Zeaware Service Admin portal
  • Click the Bookings tab and select the Schedule that you are configuring the availability for
  • Using the Date Selector, choose the data for which you wish to set the Availability
  • In the Time Selector click at the Start Time for the Availability Period and drag the mouse to the End Time for the Availability Period.  Right click the mouse and select Change Availability option.
  • Alternatively, simply right click the mouse and select the Change Availability option in the time selector.
  • Choose the Reoccurring option in the Change Availability pane.
  • Next choose either “Available” to set the schedule time as available for Bookings, or choose “Unavailable” to set the schedule time as not available for Bookings.
  • Next check the Start and End Time for the Availability Period is correct, or adjust as required and click Next.
  • Now choose the days of the week the Availability Period should apply for.
  • You will need to choose the start date from when the Availability Period will start.  If you wish this to start from today, leave as the default date.
  • Next, choose the end date from when the Availability Period will end.  If you want this Availability Period to extend indefinitely leave at the default, otherwise choose an end data for the Availability Period.
  • Finally review the Change Availability Summary pane and then click Change Availability to save your Availability Period changes.
